I knew Jimmy from way back in our hippy days at Kairos Coffee House in Sacramento, California. A couple of years ago I ran into him in Old Sacramento where they (Hawks and Eagles) were peforming. My son and I went with him and Nancy to their motel room and spent some time remembering the old days. It was great fun and Jimmy and Nancy were very kind to my son. Jimmy showed him some licks on guitar. Since then I have taken up fiddle and always hoped to play a tune with him and Nancy some day. He was too young to go. Jimmy was a true individual.--Carrie Dye in Olympia, WA
