Wolfgang, thank you for putting your finger on something I have been trying but failing to articulate for this entire thread. CarolC is clearly a nice person (if a bit boring and uneccessarily quarrelsome) and is right to suspect the motives of those who routinely bash Islam. However there is too much evidence about that Islam IS unusually prone to fanaticism and fundamentalism to dismiss it all as simply prejudice and racism. Is this a fair summary of your last post? (CarolC am I a bigot or not? Your last post on this subject is quite remarkably incoherent).
