Need to keep this thread alive I dont know if you are aware that this festival has been one of my favourites for many years

Many people go for the fringe events and when the weather is good it can be great. However no one can gaurantee the weather!
Nothing stays the same, even the Nook is different but very popular.
We lost the Elephant, but regained the Stamps ~ new management ironing out camping much better last year, but it really rained stair rods last year (take yr wellies)The White Hart should be used more assuming we've still got!
Lovely place Holmfirth and geared up for tourism, go see the places you see on TV!!
Traditional singers are made most welcome and I met Roger Hinchliffe last year who is son of Frank Hinchliffe trad singer from Sheffield
Also the last place I saw Sid Long compering [god bless you all]
