This month marks the 45th anniversary of the great Bud & Travis concert at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.

I wonder if any of you were there or have any recollection from friends who were.

For those of us who only had the record, it certainly felt like we were in fifth row center, and playing the LPs has been something which has never lost its flavor over four decades.

The music was special and even the humor (save the line about poisoning cranberries) hasn't become dated. I shared the album with a couple guys in their twenties last week, and they thought the banter was terrific.

Anybody played the CD of the show?
