Thanks everyone.

I bought a new pair of running/walking shoes (in the Dixie quiz we call them tennis shoes) yesterday, and when I showed my driver's license for identification to cash the check, the clerk wished me a Happy Birthday!

The owner of the store, an Englishman who came to the US on a track scholarship, also wished me a Happy Birthday, and asked point blank how old I was! I told him, since I'm proud of my age, but I was a little surprised he asked.

Escamillo, I thought of you and Amazing Grace just yesterday! How are you? Still singing, I hope.
