This song has rattled around my head since Gril Scout Camp in the late 70s. I have been singing the portion I remember to my daughter lately, and she loves it...she'll say "sing the loopy noodle song mom!" I'm not as goofy as I thought considering many others recall it too! I've seen it referred to as "The Nonsense Song", "The Crazy Song" and "Jeep Song" Thanks much!
