I am very sorry to hear of your loss Richard. Tolerance is a valued asset in our democratic society. Law is made by governments who rule to give a weighed argument where we are generally disinclined to go with reasoned arguments concerned with the health and wellbeing of citizens. Tolerating one smoker is likely to be intolerant towards a dozen others who do wish to suffer from secondary smoke inhalation. Who is the one being intolerant?
