What can I say as the (only?) Mudcatter who lives in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon?
Sorry weelittledrummer! I have no defence - I have definitely fallen down in my duty!!
But there are lots of things going on in the vicinity, many of them in lovely country pubs in the deep south of Warwickshire and the borders of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire ... as well as the things going on to the north, eg in the towns of Warwick & Leamington Spa.
It all depends on your likes, eg music sessions, mixed music/song sessions, morris & mummers. But not the usual folk club and fairly infrequent singarounds. Do you sing/play or both?
Let me know in advance of when you are coming and I will let you know what I know.
