The same thought was crossing my mind regarding "stage names" or something of that ilk.
My assumption has always been that Rita wrote the song and nothing here has really convinced me otherwise. Confused me perhaps but not convinced.

The feeling is that it will be the David Alexander recording people here are remembering. I will test that theory at the weekend and update then. In the meantime thanks again for proving what a useful resource the Mudcat is.
