Here is an actual music tie-in to cell phones... --------------- The novelty single "Axel F" (Gusto) by Crazy Frog upstaged Coldplay's "Speed of Sound" (Parlophone) on yesterday's (May 29) new U.K. singles chart by beating it to No. 1. The track, one of several to emerge from the "frog ringtone" craze, is based around Harold Faltermeyer's 1985 hit of the same name, and is the creation of Wolfgang Boss and Reinhardt Raith, the latter also a member of dance producers Bass Bumpers. EMI's Parlophone label did however succeed in securing the No. 1 position on the new album chart, as "Demon Days" by Gorillaz went straight to the top. --------------- Please note... the top song is a RINGTONE!!!
