I just got back from the doctor's and the result is benign, just as I had hoped for. So that's good news. It was a warthin's tumor, which is common with men and that there is a 10% chance that it will develop later in the other gland. I don't have to wear the hat any more and I have another followup appointment in two months. But if there is swelling, he wants me back asap and i will have probably have to wear the hat again I'm sure. Apparantly the problem I had with my incision was common in smokers, the more you smoke the worst the incision looked. I smoke, I'm bad I know. He said my incision looks good and to continue cleaning it with peroxide and apply polysporn to it until it is all healed. Well that's it for my update.
