I like Cool Edit Pro. You can come straight out of the rec out on your amp into the line in on the sound card. Open a new file and record your track then save it as a PCM WAV. to finish off (I think the newer CoolEdit) does this, I use an old version of CD Creator it works fins and I have an old P166 which is set up for just this and saves me throwing out a perfectly good old computer. A good sound card helps.
