I was happy for years with the old style 9 pin printers and
ribbon cartridges.

the ink cartridges 1n the newer model printers do not seem to last very long and are KINDA EXPENSIVE.

i bought a refill kit and tried it but it didn't work well for long.

any mudcatters had successful experiences re-filling the ink
cartridges?

is there some TRICK TO IT I overlooked.

this is a LEXMARK 515 series, but the Z73 was about the same deal.
