Thanks for the information! I forgot to mention, I'm not from Quebec, but from Northern California. I met some Quebecois musicians when they came out here in mid '80s for tours - the original, traditional version of La Bottine Souriante and Lisa Ornstein, fantastic fiddler from the US who at that time lived in Quebec and toured with fantastic accordionist Denis Pepin.
