A US soldier is supposed to fight for a good cause in US terms. That's pretty vague, but I don't think it includes an administration's vanity war. Howsomever, some people automatically support authority and the status quo. Like the well-known "Good Germans" in Hitler's time. Decent people, except when it conflicted with being submissive. clint
