My stepmom ("Geri Anders") was a cheesy nightclub singer in the los angeles area in the 1960's through the 1980's and that song, Paul Anka's "Havin my baby" was in her repitoire. There is only one thing worse than the original recording of that song. And that is a 60 year old woman with very limited musical talent singing a schmaltzy piano bar (with rhythm machine accompaniment) version of the thing! Sends chills down my spine just remembering it. Thank god my own friends were not old enough to go see her "perform" in the nightclubs when I was in high school!!!
