GUEST,Bobert BS: Bobert to take on Katrina... (76* d) RE: BS: Bobert to take on Katrina... 29 Aug 05

Well, well, well...

I was 'sposed to be landin' in Memphis right 'bout an hour ago but my flight outta o' Dulles was cancelled so I'z holed up at the P-Vine's siter's house here in Leeesburg, Va. and will be headin' down Wednesday...

Gonna give me only one day to record, that is if my buddy with the studio made it through today... I talked wid him this mornin' but ain't had no luck in gettin' thru since then...

Then, hopefully the Howlin' Wolf Blues Festival on Friday in West Point, Ms. will come off... If not, maybe the Otha Turner "Goat Roast" in Como, Ms. will come off... Not that I gonna eat no goat, mind you, but everybody comes to that picnic and lotts good Misissippi bluesmen come to play...

Now, I reckon seein' as I is supposed to be usin' my brother-in-law's pudder fir checkin' on my flight and Iz been on it fir half an hour now I reckon I oughtta me a good guest and go down and listen to a couple more hours of his monolgues about various troop movements??? Never knew that Stonewall Jackson was one of Napolean's generals??? The boy gets confuzed about his wars but sho nuff knows lots about this kinda stuff...

As fir the offer of holin' up in an Espicopal Church, WYSuzie??? How 'bout the one in Leesburg... Heck wid Katrina... She ain't nuthin' compaired to by bro-in-law...

Awwww, jus' funnin'... Ain't gonna sleep on no hard church pew and them Episcopals have the hardest of the hard when it comes to pews...

Bobert
