Gemma.    She's the toddler behind whom you were crawling round the floor with a spoon of food in your hand, trying to slot it into her mouth as she wandered around the room, one winter teatime when Stuart and I visited you and Anne.       I remember admiring your persistence.    It obviously paid off!
That day we were talking about the Civil War Society - I still think of 'big bangs' (gunfire, you eavesdropping perverts) when I see war enactment on telly.
