How much samenesses vs. differences count on a continum from 'kind of similar' to 'almost identical' is pretty subjective. Small differences I can live with! I've had people call me deaf because I could not find two tunes 'identical,' but not help me by pointing out whats the same & acknowledge differences. That's why I try to be specific about what I find same vs. different. How much they matter is up to each of us to decide. Joe, I don't do German. Are these words any better?
