I'm settled at the moment (not a Martin or Gibson nor even a "name" guitar, although I've owned both the former and a number of other leading makes) and would echo entirely what weelittledrummer said. There is no "best", it's what suits (and pleases) you personally for the style(s) of music you play. If I ever had the money I'd commission a Manzer ("Au Naturel" archtop model). Peace moo
