Wow...some time ago when I was telling someone about the Mudcat, I said, "It's the kind of place where somebody will ask for the words of a song, and somebody will come up with them, and somebody else will tell about the time he heard Joan Baez sing the song in his parents' living room, and somebody else will add that his grandfather wrote the song."

And now it's happened! Or nearly...

Please, tell us more about your great-grandfather, if you don't mind. Did he write other songs? (And did he make guitars?)
