A couple thoughts = of what concern are approval ratings at this stage of the game? Since the Dems don't have a clue as what to do, voters are going to stick with the Repubs. At least the Repubs are doing something. Remember the adage, "do something whether it's right or not."

And I have a feeling that some here who must use sources such as Slat, moveon.org, Buzzflash or Angelfire to reload with slings and arrows for the current administration could be jealous, desrious of power themselves or a combination of these and no life of their own, so to speak.

Washington has been screwed up for years and years, the system is basically broken and both sides of the aisle have forgotten why they are there. While we are treated like serfs much of the time, the opportunity is still ive and well here. Constant bitching at one political entity will never solve things. With the exception of the biggest tax increase and the biggest welfare increase in our history, we sorta' coasted during the WJC years. Show me where those two items helped clean up places such as New Orleans, to say nothing of similiar spots like New York city, Detroit, Tampa, Chicago, Miami and others.
