Yes, we have all lost someone who taught us about music and what it takes to play. It doesn't take a thousand dollar guitar or a fancy grand piano. Fritz did it with a jug and washtub bass. I played washbaord with him in the Metropolitian Jug Band for a few years and it was always a joy and honor to be on stage with such a great musician an human being. It is nice to see friends like Reggie and hero's like Geoff show up here to talk about what a great musician and human being Fritz was. I'm told Geoff is getting a tribute together in January? Please let me know billy@upperleftedge.com! The last time we met khe he gave me a washboard made out of mytle wood. I never played it but I would like to play it at least once for Fritz. Music has lost one of its nicest human beings. billy
