Well, someone up there (laughing too hard right now to scroll smoothly upward) mentioned looking for the bad lines in folk music. All right, then . . . . (These are actually pseudo-folk--it's hard to imagine stuff this bad surviving the supposed 'folk process'.) "I hear folks have names for things, like rain and wind and fire . . ." and "I gave my love a cherry, that had no stone . . ." (I really enjoyed that scene in the movie Animal House where some Sincere Young Man With A Guitar starts that last number, and one of the frat guys rips away the guitar and beats the SYM over the head with it.)
