No, Johnny, now you couldn't be more wrong. I enjoy all of the artists you mentioned, but they are some of the best of the modern era. they would not have existed without the Hanks williams, Johnny Cashs, and Waylon Jennings (his real name, he was a later day bass player for Buddy Holly in early 1959 I am sure you know, or do you?) and other country music HALL OF FAMERS) Let's not forget George Jones, Willie, Lefty Frizzell, Webb Pierce, Hank Locklin, etc. As in the real heart of what country music is.
