Wow, Lizzie...that was beautiful. I am deeply moved by JD's music, and as I age I find myself drawn more deeply into his metaphors and meanings in life. As with so many performers, John died way too early. But few of us will ever get half as much out of life as he did, or put back a quarter of the amount he gave to others. I will be in his debt as long as I can sing. Freightdawg
