I appreciate all of the suggestions. For what it's worth, there are many, many great musicians who don't play high-end guitars. I have Blueridge 160 and 180 models in my store, setting side-by-side with D-18 and HD 28 martins. At least 50% of the time, Blueridge wins the "Pepsi Challenge." The "niche" in our metro area of 400,000 can be a pretty big one. No one sells, autoharps, lap or hammer dulcimers, open=back banjos, mandos, oddball goldtone instruments, harmonocas, fiddles, dopbros, etc. It doesn't take a lot of these sales to float a small store. I think that music stores make a big mistake focusing on guitars. Thanks!!!
