Strange one this. I was asked if i could locate a version of the well known Grandfather's Clock in Gaelic. It is for a group of kids who are traveling to Ireland for a special olympics do in Limerick. The organisers would basically like them to learn this as an "anthem" for the trip. Strange call, but it aint my show! I am not an Irish speaker, but if anyone has a proper translation i could forward it to a man who can. It may not work out as a word for word translation, taking metere and rhyme into account, but as near as accurate to the original song as possible.
I shall leave those who might be in a position to help me on this, a very large and interesting bone to chew on.
Enjoy!
