Bill D, I know your message was posted about 7 years ago, but I thought I might try sending a response anyway. Red River Dave was my great uncle. It was always a treat to go over to my grandparent's house on Sundays and hear his booming voice coming from the Den. He was definitely a character. I read that you have a tape from 1976 of him singing and talking. If there's anyway I could somehow get a copy of that, please let me know. It's such a great feeling to know there are people out there who truly appreciated his music.
