The war on terror will be won once we refuse to be terrorized. We must be rational about what threats are real and what threats are fabricated by our ruling class. The best way to keep their base in line is to make them feel unsafe. People are willing to bunch up and give whatever is necessary when they feel threatened. The rumour of war is as powerful as a real war. Check out Orwell... apparently he was a prophet. We were manipulated all thru the election cycle by Washington. Every time Bush slipped in the polls we went back to an Orange alert and bingo! his approval ratings shot right back up. I expect we'll see the same with the upcoming mid term elections. If we want to end the war on terror we need to quit being wimps and elect someone who will tell us the truth.
