Hiya I live in Spain, but want to make a cheesecake the way we make them at home in the uk. Well, actually I want my Italian friend to make it the way I want. The problem is, emmm, I have only ever made cheesecakes out of a packet ! And I can't get my hands on a packet of mix here. So what's a girl to do ? My Italian friend makes a cheesecake that he bakes and it ends up all rubbery. That's not for me ! I want a crunchy base and a fluffy, high fat creamy cheese bit, along with some blueberry topping or something similar. Oh, yeah, and being me , I also would prefer not to bake it. Am I asking too much ? Thanks mudcatters !
