Greetings from the Middle East (Qatar to be precise). I'm out here to perform at the Dunestock festival (I kid you not!) and to spend some time drinking/singing with some old mates. Many thanks to Richard and to everyone who was at the last session at the Ship; I really enjoyed it. I shall be back in Britain in time for the next one - probably accompanied by Growler and Short Legs - assuming that it's on the 18th of March (please confirm !). As for Courage Best, I remember my grandad (a keen Friary Meux drinker) saying on more than one occasion that the reason they used the slogan "Take Courage" was that it took courage to drink it! TTFN, Kevin (the shirt murderer; or was it manslaughter?)
