"Such a cunning midget, roughy, fluffy, Little pussy willow won't you please to purr. " A friend remembers this song & recalled this additional verse. I've been searching for a songbook from the '30's with this and other elementary school type songs from that era. Songbooks don't seem to have the same interest among collectors as reading primers of the same vintage. The song titles don't even show up on search engines, and I don't have the title of the book, so it's been rough going. Glad I was able to find this thread. Take care.
