Fascinating cut-out W&G scenes for Becky, thousands of miles away... Sadly, the directors had to cut the Stinking Bishop scene, in which Gromit revives Wallace with a slice of cheese. Stinking Bishop is a rare Herefordshire soft cheese which pongs pretty marvellously. It's made by washing the cheese in perry, made from the Stinking Bishop pears - so now you know! When I was working as a journalist for the Bristol Evening Post, the whole city took to Aardman Animations with pride, and Wallace and Gromit soon became 'their' animated characters.
