We all know how maddening it is to have a piece of unidentifiable music running through one's head. Well, I've got one now. It's a song in Italian, but was made popular a number of years ago in America by a singer (Tony Bennet, maybe?). All I can give is a phonetic transcription (which is what keeps me from Googling it). It goes: E goombare, che wa sonare. Que si sora, o mandolino (other instruments go here in other verses) ma como si sono. o mandolino tinga, tinga mandolino. Tippiti, tippiti, ta. Anyone remember that one?
