Driving from here to there today I remembered a few lines from ... what? ... a song? They run something like this:
"Well I'll be switched, the hay ain't pitched,
Giddyup (SP?) Napoleon, It looks like rain."
da . da . da . di . da. da . da
"Come around and see us when you're on the farm again"
what is it? and how does it really go? is it a song?
I'm recording some of the oldies for the grandkids and would love to work this in if I can figure out how it goes and what the tune (if any ) is.
