Scotus Origins: Who wrote the Mini Cooper song? (9) RE: Origins: Who wrote the Mini Cooper son? 29 Mar 06

Archie was the proud owner of a pair of white overalls with SAAB emblazoned across the back - in which he rallied a mini-cooper - his navigator was Fiona Guinness (yes - that Guinness). On one occasion he wore them to go down Valleyfield colliery with various Fife folkies (including Babs Dickson) and emerged afterwards, literally 'as black as coal'!

I do remember him singing the mini-cooper song more than once. That would be in the mid sixties.
