PENNY BLACK & FRIENDS


Penny Black will be performing for ARC (Arthritis Research Campaign) on 11th & 18th April 2006 to hopefully raise much needed cash.

They will perform their usual Lancashire, Comedy songs and poems and there will be a bucket collection for A.R.C.

The events have proven extremely successful over the last few years and once again the Steamer Pub has invited Penny Black to continue the regular Tuesday Lunchtime concerts throughout the 2006 season (from the end of May 2006 until the end of the illuminations (early November)).

As an added aid to the fund raising and for those who would like to help but cannot get to the concerts, an online collection service has been instigated, that providing the person giving is a British Tax payer, tax will be reclaimed - meaning ARC will received £12 for every £10 donated!
