just to add a little more - the song "Old Pendle" (yes, song there was a tune, but not Brian's, with the original words) has been published and I have a copy of the sheet music and words (minus Brian's verse)in the archives, which I will try and dig out and add the details here. Knowing Brian as we did, no one would doubt anything he said as being true, in so much as he believed it to be a true recollection of how he came to put the words and music together and the adding of an extra verse.
