What I've heard is that 1.) she's a horrible person to work with and especially for, 2.) that she was involved in a bit of a campaign money scandal and had to give that person's donation to charity and 3.) it sounds like Republican's are trying to distance people's memories of the whole hanging chad and Florida's horrible voting scandal that brought Bush into the white house. Obviously Katherine Harris represents that situation in a big way. She thought she could leverage it but her involvement looks to have the opposite effect for the GOP currently.

Perhaps you already knew all that. I can't find anything which talks directly about why her campaign people are leaving- I suspect that they just couldn't work with her anymore but perhaps there's more we'll find out.
