"Grandpappy Left Me His Old Brown Pants" is either a title or a recurring line in a song that my grandfather used to sing around the house when my father was young. That would have happened in the 1920s so the song would have to originated before that. They were in the Arkansas - Oklahoma area. Does anybody know anything about this song? I would like to find the lyrics and/or a recording. My father says he heard Grandpa Jones sing it once years ago and he wrote to him with no reply. Thanks.
