Thousands of years ago*, when I was but a smallish child in Chicago, I used to regularly hear a "singing commercial" for Edelweiss beer: Drink Edelweiss It tastes so nice (forgot this line) Drink Edelweiss Which I revised to: Drink Edelweiss Kills rats and mice It's worth the price Drink Edelweiss As I recall, Edelweiss was a local (Chicago) brand, and was still being produced by the large brewery that acquired the label into the (nineteen) nineties.
