I have a Suzuki Three-S, late 1970's to mid 1980's maybe? My dad got it as a retirement gift. It sat unplayed in his closet for 10 years or so. Needed some bridge and saddle work, so I spent a few bucks on that. Sounds fine to me, a rank amateur who will someday be able to barre an F chord. At a music camp one summer, our beginner guitar class was backstage tuning up for our concert debut. A respected local guitarist and luthier was standing near me as I strummed away. He craned his neck around to look at the headstock, and was quite surprised to see the Suzuki logo. "Keep that guitar." he said. Good enough for him, good enough for me.
