Hi Pukeko, The one who can tell you best is probably Mudcatter eoin o' buadhaigh who has a terrific knowledge of Co. Down songs and is exceedingly lovely as well (I'm biased because he's my uncle, but it's still true). This song appears in his book, Songs of the County Down (link to book), as "Carrickmannon Lake".
