Being the hack musician that I am, I can rarely assist the Cat with lyrics or chords or musical folklore. I've been around here for 6 years as a member and before that as a lurking guest. I've met people here that I would gladly buy a pint or three for, and others I wouldn't cross the street to shake hands. I used to love the Mudcat, I found it a valuable resource. That was then, this is now.

If it counts for anything my vote is to file 13 the B.S. section, restrict Guests from posting (for the most part, obviously, Art and a few others are exempt from that clause) set up ONE moderator name for the mods to use, give them set of "rules" to follow, and apply them equally across the board. Honestly, I find Shambles posts less annoying than Shatner and Punch the Horse threads, only slightly though. Move the Google ads up top, especially if in doing so they help pay the bills, they are easier to find and should attract more attention.

Just my 2 cents worth.
Max, thanks for the Cat and all you've done for her. Here's to reviving her to what she used to be.
