Is the mandolin your primary instrument or a sideline? Primary, although I love to play guitar as well. Do you perform regularly with others/are you part of an organized group? Perform regular with a Bluegrass band. I also go to many jams with all kinds of music. What type of music do you play? Bluegrass mostly, but all kinds. If I'm playing guitar, I tend to drift into the Ink Spots ... What style would you LIKE to be playing? I wish I could cross pick like Jesse McReynolds ... Are you happy with your mandolin? Yes, but I'm always looking ... What type/style/brand of mandolin do you own. Rigel G110, Gibson A5L, Flatiron A5-2, and a Gibson A-4. Whichever one I play depends on what mood I'm in, what kind of music I want to play. It was nice to hear that Red Rector was still being listened to. He is a favorite of mine, along with Hershel Sizemore.
