Steve : I kinda felt the same way for a while after I was talked into accepting a retirement package (quite a good one, I must say for that time) at the age of 57 after 32 years at the same company, which was undergoing lots of changes. It is now fifteen years later and I revel in the good life I've experienced since then. I beefed up my guitar techniques and even learned a new instrument, although I still can't pick like Scruggs !! I also have Type 2 diabetes and it has been a lot easier to control now that I'm out of the rat race. The first year may be the hardest, but , trust me, it gets so much better later on. Good luck and let us know what's up from time to time. Les Blank PS: Refrain from reading posts on any subject that are authored by "The Shambles".
