last year my husband died and we had a holiday planned in the u.k. We are from New Zealand and would have loved to have visited together having never seen any of the world. I thought 'bugger' I'm not going to give up life and have decided to go myself. At 70 it's quite exciting to do something so scarey for the first time and I have now booked everything!! BUT I have no idea how to get to Whitby and neither does my kiwi travel agent.So i thought I would ask Mudcat advice. Can i take a train? or a bus perhaps. Do i have to book my fare? I would be very grateful for any suggestions. Ta Sheala
