Commiserations, Don. I know it's easy for those who have never experienced it to make a joke of this kind of experience. I was relatively lucky in that it was the car I was in that was struck not me myself - it punched a hole through the metal in the wing. My husband and son loved the experience, our friend and I were scared sh----ss - well, I went out with constipation and certainly didn't have it when I arrived home! The blinding white light is indescribable and it felt like the car had been lifted in the air and then dropped about thirty feet. First thing I needed was a very large brandy!
