Why are we so eager to make the woman suffer?
Yes, she did kill her children, and that is so horrible most of us can't even imagine how a mother could do that.
That probably is the key to this whole thing -- Our inability to imagine the torment she already suffered.
There has been enough written about her and her realization of what she did and the new torments she suffers now for all of us to understand she will never be unpunished for this horror.
We may be so willing to point fingers at her and at those around her who didn't see what was happening because we want to assure ourselves that we would never do what she has done.
We need to get past all that and try to learn more about the causes, prevention if there is any, and help for mental illness and the mentally ill. I believe no one would willingly follow her path.
